Interconnection facility in NYC for international & domestic R&E network Following the lead of STAR TAP/StarLight, Pacific Wave, AMPATH it’s a carrier neutral, layer 2 exchange point Partnership involving Internet2, NYSERNet & Indiana University’s Global NOC Independent of Abilene infrastructure; direct bilateral peerings between connected R&E nets Abilene’s T640 NYC core router will connect with 10GE at MAN LAN’s 1st light 8 April 2003
