4 Fly America Act/Travel
The Fly America Act (41 CFR through ) requires that all federally funded travel be on a US flag carrier or US flag carrier service provided under a code- share agreement, except under specific situations. Under certain circumstances, principal fnvestigators traveling internationally on federally funded projects MAY be eligible for exemptions to the Fly America Act but prior authorization is required from [whom].  The explanation of eligibility and instructions for requesting prior authorization can be found at thttp:// International travel to sanctioned or embargoed countries (Export Control and International Travel) may have certain restrictions including limitations on the export of computers or other scientific devices.

5 Records Retention P-Cards
PCard records should be maintained for at least five years from the most recent financial statement audit date unless they pertain to an audit, which may mean a longer period. PCard records related to grants/projects must be maintained for five years beyond the final reporting period of the grant/project. For more information on storing PCard receipts, contact Purchasing Services for the official USF System record retention policies and procedures. FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF STATE BASICS OF RECORDS MANAGEMENT HANDBOOK - Records in Support of Financial or Performance Audits. These records should be retained in accordance with the following guidelines provided by the Florida Office of the Auditor General: Records must be retained for at least three fiscal years (most financial records must be retained for a minimum of five fiscal years in accordance with guidelines of the Department of Financial Services and the Office of the Auditor General).

Must meet one of the requirement: Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in research or sponsored programs administration either in a sponsoring or recipient organization or the equivalent in a self-funded organization; Associate’s Degree and five (5) years of professional experience in research or sponsored programs administration either in a sponsoring or recipient organization or the equivalent in a self-funded organization; No degree and six (6) years of professional experience in research or sponsored programs administration either in a sponsoring or recipient organization or the equivalent in a self-funded organization.
