Group Activity In your group assemble the 10 blocks your group has into a unusual structure. While you are assembling your blocks write directions that other groups could use to construct the structure you have assembled. Exchange directions with another group, and follow their directions to assemble their structure using the directions. Compare the assembled structure with the original one to see how you did.

Setting Up a Controlled Experiment
Test only one variable at a time Variables are the factors in an experiment that can be changed. Independent Variable- variable being changed in experiment. (manipulated variable) Dependent variable- variable that changes due to changes in the independent variable. (responding variable)

What’s Next…. After experiments have been conducted you draw a conclusion. After a conclusion is made, and your experiment has been recreated and retested numerous times and never been proven wrong scientist will consider it a theory. A theory is a particular hypothesis that has been well supported through numerous investigations.
