NPC International Improves Organizational Compliance and Employee Relations Across Franchises With Sodales Cloud Extensibility NPC International is a franchisee of Pizza Hut and Wendy’s. Being the 5th largest restaurant unit in the United States with more than 36,000 employees and growing; the company wanted to improve employee experience, brand experience, and customer experience through a complete digital transformation. One of the major challenges within the franchise business is to enable growth-ready infrastructure and processes for the franchisees to properly onboard and train their employees so that they can provide better service to customers. They also need the ability to build better relations with the franchisees to recruit and retain a happy team while ensuring brand quality and consistency. Being the 5th largest restaurant unit in the United States with more than 36,000 employees and growing; the company wanted to improve employee experience through a complete digital transformation. One of the major challenges in enabling this transformation was employee engagement at the store level while ensuring their policy compliance and communication for better business outcomes. The restaurant businesses generally employ a large set of millennials who are accustomed to using digital technologies as opposed to paper-based processes. The paper-based policy approval processes were making it difficult for franchisees to be productive. By utilizing the SAP Cloud Platform extensibility for SAP S4/HANA and SAP SuccessFactors along with Sodales Labor Relations Policy/Document module, NPC delivered a fresh new experience for employees working at the stores (Pizza Hut/Wendy’s). The new experience involved digitizing the content, communication, policies, and acceptance; resulting in a faster and streamlined employee onboarding experience for the franchisees. Sodales Labor Relations Software – Extension For SAP HCM By utilizing the SAP Cloud Platform extensibility for SAP S4/HANA and SAP SuccessFactors, NPC delivered a fresh new experience for employees working at the stores (Pizza Hut/Wendy’s). The new experience involved digitizing the content, communication, policies, and acceptance; resulting in a faster and streamlined employee onboarding experience for the franchisees. Sodales Labor Relations Admin Console and Policy/Document Management module was used to achieve this extensibility for SAP SuccessFactors.
