Demand for corporate community engagement continues to grow, and with that, so has Invest It Forward. We toast five years of IIF network collaboration. We continue to mature and refine together – using data and the “MatchMe” site to: expand relationships with individual volunteers and our partner firms support our SMG teachers and students deepen engagement and financial capability in our own communities and states!

Skills-based volunteering is the fastest growing type of corporate volunteer program (CECP) Creating scale through volunteer ambassador programs is a shared challenge for firms & non profits alike (Benevity) Value of Volunteer Time Rose 3% in Average now of $25.43; DC now has the highest state rate in the US (Points of Light) Companies in the Financial Sector saw a jump to 28% volunteer participation among their employees this past year, outpacing all other sectors such as energy 10%, healthcare 6%, and even IT 18% (Your Cause)

5 Invest It Forward™ Since Our Launch in April 2014
Invest It Forward has recruited and retained more than 11,000 discreet volunteers. These volunteers engaged in more than 14,000 discreet activities as: classroom guest speakers firm field trip hosts for students & teachers special event/award speakers teacher PD and workshop collaborators newsletter and content editors and InvestWrite judges!

6 Invest It Forward™ Developments & Considerations
Automated proximity mailer, triggered 4x this spring Scheduler addition to teacher request; 3 dates/times for your volunteer’s consideration In absence of a registered local volunteer, cold outreach across Edward Jones, LPL and Raymond James 2x this spring These enhancements brought about a 96% match rate; and significantly expedited the match process Considerations Increasing teacher response; closing the fulfillment gap Developing our own IIF ambassadors by firm/by state. Expanding firm hosted activity (field trips/awards/workshops) outside of the tri-state area.
