Project Description Our project, named “The Beverage Bumper”, was named according to its function it performs, tipping a beverage into a container.

First Stage: In the beginning stage, a spring is pulled from its natural length to give the wooden ball an initial velocity down the horizontal track. After it approaches the end, it falls down a container tube to fall onto one side of a fulcrum level.

Second Stage When it falls onto one side of the lever, the other side is lifted and allows the other ball to continue down its ramp.

Third Stage The second ball then travels down the ramp where it comes into contact with the momentum arm.

Final Stage Once the ball reaches the momentum arm, it causes the cup to rotate, which in turn tips the can over into the container below.

Conclusion Overall, although inherently inefficient, our Beverage Bumper was a success. And our inspiration for this project:
