2. Detailed protocol for exemplar reaction

Task 1
Prepare stock solutions of diazos (1.25 M in CH2Cl2), co-substrates (12.5 M in CH2Cl2) and catalysts (25 mM in THF) 2
To each vial, pipette sequentially: (a) 8 ul of diazo solution (final conc: 100 mM); (b) 80 ul of reaction solvent; (c) 8 ul of co-substrate solution (final conc: 1M); (d) 4 ul of catalyst solution (final conc: 1 mM) 3
Seal vials 4
Leave for 48 hr 5
Add Quadrapure TU resin to each vial (30 mg) 6 7
Leave for 24 hr 8
Unseal vials, and transfer products solutions to daughter vials. Wash with 50 ul solvent and transfer to daughter vials 9
