Latitude The angular distance of a place north or south of the earth's equator, usually expressed in degrees and minutes. The position that you are NORTH and SOUTH in the world! Closest to the Equator is HOTTEST Further away (North and South Poles) are COLDEST

Ocean Currents An ocean current is a continuous, directed movement of sea water generated by a number of forces acting upon the water This essentially means that Oceans are NOT staying still, and are moving in distinct, organized patterns!
