3. Thesis Deadlines Summer 2019 08 August – Graduation Deadline
30 August – Clearance Deadline
Fall 2019
24 July – First Day to Submit
30 August – Early Clearance Deadline
18 October – Defense Deadline
25 October – Submission Deadline
13 December – Graduation Deadline
17 January – Clearance Deadline

4. Also Due on Deadline Day
Written Approval Form
Bring form in to
the OGAPS office
MUST be turned in before can start review
Also due by 5 pm on deadline day
Committee signs it
Good idea to bring to your defense
Out of town committee member – can be scanned as long as it is a handwritten signature
Head of department signature must be original (i.e. not copied or scanned)
Good idea for student to make a copy of this form before turn it in.

5. C&A Form EMBARGO 3 Hold Options Include Reason Can Email/Upload
Explain the three hold options:
- Immediate release means that document will be published in OakTrust (at Evans Library) and in ProQuest (for doctoral students)
Document Only Hold – Only name, title, metadata, and abstract are published
Full Record Hold – Nothing at all published until hold is released
Can , submit to Vireo, or bring in to office
Due before you clear
