Integrins modulate the Notch pathway by regulating its intracellular trafficking and/or processing. Egg chambers were stained with anti-GFP (A–F; green), anti-FasIII (A,B; red), anti-NICD (C–F; red), anti-Hrs (E; green) and TO-PRO-3 (blue). Expression of NICD (A) but not full-length Notch (‘N’; B) restores the normal expression of FasIII and nuclear size of mys PFCs in ectopic layers (GFP−, arrow).
