2. MaKING the Most of it (proposed new Phase 4)
A program to attract the thousands of young people who have shown a recent interest in our industry as a result of Make Your Move (Phase 3), and allow industry to easily hire these people as Trainees
Making the Most of It has the following key features:
Facilitates the process to attract new people to our industry
Demystifies the incredibly complex Traineeship/Apprenticeship system (8 different State/Territory systems + Commonwealth)
Makes it easier to:
Hire a Trainee
Find a training organisation (RTO)
Have the training paid for
Use a Group Training Organisation if you want
Receive a Commonwealth Government subsidy

3. MAKE THE MOST OF IT
Talk to a Field Officer about taking on a Trainee when the program is up and running in the second half of 2019
Use the online tool and take on a Trainee in 2019 or 2020
Use a Group Training Organisation to employ, if you wish
Take on a Work Experience student now with a view to having them as a Trainee later
There are currently High School students who want to do Work Experience with you now
