Contents Long Time Series Dynamic Inventory of Road Energy Consumption and Environmental Emissions in Central European Cities; Life Cycle Analysis of Urban Road Energy and Environmental Emissions; Evaluation Method of Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Potential and Technical Indicator System of Urban Road; Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Management Policies of Urban Road Systems in Central Europe; Empirical Study on Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction of Urban Road Systems in Central Europe;
6
Objectives Review of the available methodologies/studies for the assessment of green asphalt (and other construction materials) technologies; Analyze the procurement processes including a sustainability assessment; Broaden and improve the data inventory including information about pavement life time prediction; Assess the effects of maintenance schedule on emissions; Assess the validity and usability of the HERMES tool; Establish the bases for further implementation and cooperation;
7
Significance Develop accurate energy and environmental emissions dynamics inventory; Fill relevant basic data gaps, reduce data uncertainty,accurately measure urban road energy consumption and environmental emissions. Constructing a full life cycle model of urban road system; Provide basic assessment methods for improving the environmental efficiency of resources throughout the life cycle and improving environmental standards related to urban roads. Understand the key influencing factors and evolutionary trends of urban road energy consumption and environmental emissions; Provide scientific basis for implementing differentiated energy conservation and emission reduction measures and effectively reducing energy consumption and environmental emissions of urban roads according to local conditions. Exploring the potential and cost of reducing emissions under different policies; Supporting the optimization of urban road management policies and the development of forward-looking energy and environmental emission standards.
