Reminders
Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests.
Objectives: 
Reading: We will be wrapping up our Drama unit by identifying key elements in a drama (narrator, cast of characters, lines, script, playwright, dialogue, scene, prop, setting, drama), as well as, learning to recite lines from various Readers Theatre plays. Major Vocabulary Test – Feb. 8th
Language: Students will focus on using contractions in their writing.
Writing: Students will write a persuasive letter to someone about their favorite author.
Spelling Words:
towel, about, cow, clown, house, town, loud, sound, frown, towns, found, cloud
Math: This week students will subtract three-digit numbers with and without regrouping.
Science: Students will study objects in the sky next weeks.
Social Studies: Geography - Physical and Human Characteristics
Conference Time: 1:30-2:25
