NOUNS IN ENGLISH !!! In case a noun ends in ‘’-Y’’, a change will occur- ‘’Y’’ becomes ‘’I’’, and then we add the ‘’-ES’’suffix STORY, CITY….STORIES, CITIES... However, if there is a vowel preceding ‘’-Y’’ we will add –s only PLAY, BOY WE JUST ADD –S- PLAYS, BOYS...
