2008: SIDE project begins to help CSCL facilitators understand large data
2010: Increased emphasis on error analysis and improved machine learning

3. Goals SIDE allows users to:
Take as input any data (specialized for text)
Convert that data to a form usable by machine learning
Build a prediction model based on that data
Automatically apply the model to new data
Summarize data through these labels
