Li and the EAST Team (Intermediate, small)-scale microturbulence (k = 10, 18 and 26 cm−1, k ρ 𝑖 ∼ 2−5.2) was measured simultaneously by the EAST tangential CO2 laser collective scattering system Nonlinear coupling between (intermediate, small)-scale microturbulence and an MHD mode has been idetified fro the first time through using bispectral analysis methodology Temporal evolution of both the power and the frequency of (intermediate, small)-scale microturbulence has been proved to be correlated to the 2/1 tearing mode
