Parents: Didymus Johnson and Ruhama Stevens. Married: (1) Polly Zuriah Kelsey, September 13, 1827-four children. 1824: He joined the Methodist Church.
1820: At age14, Aaron Johnson was bound out to learn the trade of gunsmith. 1838: Aaron was a member of the Kirtland Camp which began its journey July 6, He was with the Saints at Far West. 1837: Aaron Johnson was with the Saints in Kirtland. 1841: On January 1, in a revelation given to Joseph Smith in Nauvoo, Aaron Johnson was among those brethren named to be called to the high council (D&C 124:132). He was a lieutenant in the Nauvoo Legion.

1843-1844: He served a mission to the eastern states.
: He was with the Saints in Garden Grove, Iowa, where he served as a counselor to Samuel Bent and also as bishop. 1850: He led one of the companies to Salt Lake City, Utah, arriving in Utah in He was of the founders of Springville. He was the first bishop of this new settlement. He was a major general in the Utah militia, Springville postmaster for 26 years, the Speaker of the first legislature in Fillmore and served as a member of the Utah legislature for 20 years. 1877: He died on May 10, 1877, in Springville, Utah.
