NEW TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE INDUSTRIAL WASTE PROCESSING FOR THE STEEL-FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE PRODUCTION IN MINING COMPLEX Vavilov A., Doudkin M., Kim A., Gyriyanov G. LLP “Scientific and Production Association INNOTEСH” D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University

Problem and solution In Kazakhstan, the most developed industrial region is the East Kazakhstan Region (EKR), where a large number of mining, processing and metallurgical enterprises are located. A large number of mines led to the problem of the appearance of a significant amount of a specific type of man-made waste. Namely waste (decommissioned) cables and ropes of handling equipment.
3
Problem and solution To solve this problem in the D. Serikbaev East Kazakhstan State Technical University, over the past few years, a number of research and development activities have been carried out. As a result, a new technology and equipment is proposed for processing of decommissioned cables and ropes for steel fiber, which is used in the future in the production of steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC).

Test samples of the main equipment
Solution The authors proposed a number of innovative solutions - new technology and equipment that can significantly reduce the processes energy intensity, the consumables cost , some other production costs, and as a consequence - the cost of new fiber manufacturing. Number of patents received - 8. Test samples of the main equipment

Basic advantage 1) The cost of a new fibers in times lower than that of analogues/ 2) When comparing SFB samples with our fiber and SFB samples with factory-made fiber (Hendix 1/50), it was found that with equal compressive strength, the tensile strength of the first ones is times higher.

Basic advantage Thank you for your attention!
The results served as the basis for the creation of an innovative production enterprise (in the RK) for the production of fiber from man-made waste. The creation of the enterprise is currently carried out through a joint grant from the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the World Bank. The project cost is about 400,000 US dollars. The term of the grant is 3 years. The planned date for new products to enter the market is Thank you for your attention!
