Ensure data integrity on the Rhodes Digital Commons.

4. Librarian: Repository Administration & Metadata
Digital collection development & Maintenance 20%
Co-ordinating the University’s digital repository to ensure alignment with current goals and future strategies.
Development of policies & guidelines.
Assisting with the University’s digitisation projects in terms of scoping, planning, scheduling and monitoring.
Digital Commons administration 20%
Collating and analysing operational statistics of the Rhodes Digital Commons, and generate relevant reports.
Ensuring compliance to depositor agreements and institutional policies (e.g. embargoes)
Communicating with depositors and users to resolve problems with content
Ensure appropriate workflows to manage the capture, description and preservation etc. of repository outputs
