Hamburg vs San Francisco
While touring The Beatles went to Hamburg to play. In Germany after defeat in two world wars, Germany is now divided into communist east and democratic west. Three ways Germany has changed are that the president was Johannes Diechman but it is now Frank Walter Steinmeier, the population was 55,958,321 people but is now million people and Germany has now introduced the computer mouse and video game consoles. For their last concert they went to San Francisco. In America in the 1960s there was the Vietnam War. Three ways life has changed in America are that The Golden Gate Bridge opened, the president has changed from Dwight D Eisenhower to Donald Trump and the population of America has changed from million to million.

Diary Entry February 8th 1969 Dear Diary, Today I was at the London Soiree. I was having lots of fun. There was dancing, music, partying and drinking. At around ten, people started doing LSD and smoking weed. I refused to part take even though I knew they were trying to influence. Half an hour later I was given a cup of coffee, by who I don’t remember. I was sipping it every few minutes when all of a sudden I realised my coffee had secretly been spiked with LSD. It was terrifying but it was also amazing. George Harrison

When The Beatles Came To Dublin
It’s been 56 years since The Beatles brought their band to play at The Adelphi Cinema in Dublin on November 7th 1963. It was different then. Nowadays you would need several colour coded badges to bet near an artist. Back then cinema manager Harry Lush had went round to Eason’s to buy a bagful of label badges that said things like Steward, Treasurer and secretary. One of them would get you into the Adelphi boardroom to chat with John, Paul, Ringo and George.
