3. Activating the Imagine Academy License
Upon purchase, the “Notices Contact and Online Admin” on your Volume License agreement receives an automated from Microsoft Online Services:

Subject line: Action required: Complete your profile to set up your services
The first step to activating your MSIA membership is to set up a Microsoft Online Services account or sign-in to the tenant account already created for your institution. The account is an Office 365 Azure Active Directory account which is used to log into the Microsoft Learning Experiences (LeXSeat) Portal.
IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE PROCEEDING: This mail is intended for the Global Administrator for your O365/AAD tenant account – the person responsible for creating and managing your Microsoft Online Services subscriptions. If the “Notices Contact and Online Admin” and Global Administrator are not the same person, the needs to be forwarded to the Global Administrator.
Follow steps using the appropriate link within the – Sign In for existing accounts or Sign Up for new accounts
If you are signing in with an existing Online Services account, skip to slide 5

4. Automated Email after Purchase
This is a screen shot of the initial sent by Microsoft Online Services with instructions and links to either Sign in or Sign up to Microsoft Online Services
Sign in will provide access to the Learning Experiences portal (LeXSeat) where you will assign Microsoft Imagine licenses
Sign up will direct you to create a new account
Upon completion of your profile, you will be redirected to the LeXSeat portal where you will assign Microsoft Imagine Academy licenses

Once logged into LeXSeat, the next step is to assign the license(s) to the MSIA Program Administrator
You have the following options for this step:
Global Administrator can add or appoint another user as an Administrator in the LeXSeat Portal to assign the MSIA license(s) See Appendix for step by step instructions
Add a new user as the designated MSIA Program Administrator and assign the license to that user See slide 7 for steps
Assign the MSIA license to a new or existing user in your LeXSeat Portal See slide 8 for steps

If the user you wish to assign already exists in the portal, skip to next page
Adding and Assigning MSIA License to New User
Select users from the menu on the left
Click add new
Enter details for the user and click next
Assign permissions and select location
After assigning permissions, select next to confirm the license
On the Send results page DO NOT select the box to send
Click create to assign the license
The results page will confirm that the welcome will be sent with the Member ID and Program Key
Select finish to finalize the license assignment (you’ll be redirected back to the user page)

Select edit from horizontal menu options above user names

Providing Admin rights to a user gives the user permission to add and edit other members to this portal as well as assign MSIA licenses.  
Only Global Admins can create, edit or delete other Global Admins. They can also edit User Management Admins or Standard Users.
User Management Admins can create, edit or delete other User Management Admins and Standard Users. 
Adding and assigning a new Administrator to LeXSeat
Select users from the menu on the left and search for your user
Select edit from horizontal menu options above user names
Select settings from the menu on the left
Select yes then choose the appropriate role/rights for user from the drop-down menu
Select the country (this is a required field), then save

15. Miscellaneous Helpful Tips:
For more than 20 subscriptions, you can use the bulk add tool under the users tab
To generate a member data list, select license usage, then click to Export to Excel. This feature will only work using Internet Explorer. Close all other browsers.
Do not select the option to send
