What is lung cancer and how it is caused
Lung cancer is a group of cancerous cells create a tumor in your lung. A tumor is a painful bump which is not a good thing to have. The tumor is made up of cancerous cells which can grow bigger and destroy tissue in the lungs It can also spread into other parts of the body but if it started in the lung, it is called lung cancer. Sometimes you naturally get lung cancer which sucks but smoking can also lead to lung cancer. Smoking has many bad chemicals in it which can clog up the lungs and create tumors.

What is a tumor? A tumor can be a bunch of things but a cancerous tumor is a group of cancerous cells that build up and create a painful bump. It grows on top of healthy tissue and eats it away. It can be solid or have cancerous fluid contained inside. Tumors don't spread but cancer does, and when cancerous spread drastically fast. The cancer cells spread up and when the cells build up on a new spot on the body, a new tumor grows.

Symptoms and treatment. Does it affect everybody?
Common symptoms of lung cancer are shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, hoarseness and coughing. For coughing, if it is very serious, the person can cough up blood or stomach fluids. Treatment can be done with surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is using drugs to fight off cancer and radiation therapy uses radiation to destroy cancer cells. Cancer does not affect everybody but some unlucky people get cancer.

Which organ systems does lung cancer effect?
Lung cancer affects the respiratory system which is breathing, but it can also affect the circulatory system which is the system to transport oxygen and nutrients to all the parts of the body. Because without proper breathing, it would be harder to get oxygen right? The organs affected by lung cancer mainly the lungs and the heart. The lungs get clogged up and the heart has to pump blood faster or in worst cases, the lungs don't do their job and they die of lack of oxygen.

Functions affected by cancer
Your lung will be affected by lung cancer, it making difficult to breathe and cancer may spread to other side of body. So cancer cells can go to the bladder and become bladder cancer or any other type of cancer. At the end you're all body systems are destroyed and you would be dead.
