10 Programmable Dimming Curve

11 Dimming Curve Linear Linear Soft Start Logarithmic - 2
Most Common dimming curve Works well with dimmers with a logarithmic response Linear dimming curve with a softer start Helps to minimize the “jump” in light output that can be seen when a dimmer is adjusted up from the minimum level Typically associated with DALI Works well with dimmers with a linear response The logarithmic base can set from 1 to 7, with larger numbers providing for a steeper curve Puts more response at the low end where light level changes are more noticeable

12 Dimming Curve – Control Voltage Break Points
Full Bright Control Voltage Can be set from 7 to 9Vdc Minimum Dim Control Voltage Can be set from 1 to 3Vdc Dim-to-off Control Voltage Can be set from 0.1 to 1.7Vdc Must be set at least 0.2V below minimum dim control voltage Prevents the driver from cycling between dim-to-off and minimum dim voltage when there are small fluctuations in the dimming signal

13 Dimming Profiles Example – Replacement Luminaire Profile Output Current 900mA Min Dim Current 45mA Dimming Curve Linear Max Bright Control Voltage 8Vdc Min Dim Control Voltage 1Vdc Dim-to-off Control Voltage disabled Example – New Luminaire Profile Output Current 900mA Min Dim Current 9mA Dimming Curve Logarithmic - 1 Max Bright Control Voltage 9Vdc Min Dim Control Voltage 1Vdc Dim-to-off Control Voltage 0.5Vdc Adjustment of the dimming curve break points and dim-to-off allow for a customized dimming profile to be configured for a luminaire.

14 Lumen Maintenance

15 Lumen Maintenance Lumen Maintenance
Lumen Maintenance – used to increase the output current to LEDs overtime to offset the lumen losses associated with LED degradation over time. Lumen Maintenance Factory defaults to disabled, must be enabled to use Output Current (Final) is linked to the Output Current on the main tab Driver will slowly increase the output current linearly over the lumen compensation period

16 Lumen Maintenance Output Current (Initial)
Can be set to 50% of the final output current This is the output current provided by the driver at initial installation Output Current (Final) This is linked to the output current on the main tab This is the output current provided by the driver after the lumen compensation period Lumen Compensation Period This is the amount of time over which the driver will linearly increase the output current Can be set from 0 to 100,000 hours in 4 hour increments Calculated value in EVERset reflecting the increase of the Output Current (Final) over the Output Current (Initial)
