Photo: Jeremiah rebukes the people for building a high place to Baal (Cannanite storm god) at the "Vally of the Son of Hinnom" and sacrificing their children there (Jer. 7:31-32; 32:35). Because of this, it will be called "Valley of slaughter" (Jer. 7:32; 19:6). This location is just outside of Jerusalem on the west side.

Photo: Baruch was the scribe of Jeremiah: "So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and while Jeremiah dictated all the world the LORD had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them down on a scroll" (Jer. 36:4). This seal, though considered a forgery by some, refers to a person with the same name and same father's name.
