“training” = education whose aim is to increase one’s virtue (i.e., moral excellence).
“admonition” = education or training with the aim of disciplinary correction: Titus 2:2-8; 1 Tim. 5:14; 2 Tim. 2:22; 1 Tim. 4:12
God’s Word is an “equal opportunity” admonisher to people of both sexes and all ages.
