Who can define what it means to be an active bystander?
An active bystander is someone who not only witnesses a situation but takes steps to keep the situation from escalating. For example, this would mean preventing someone from taking that extra drink they don’t really need or stopping them from walking home alone. When it comes down to it, we are responsible for the well-being of our sisters.
