2 WMO CAeM Expert Team on Customer Relations
Established at the 13th session of the WMO CAeM (Geneva, Switzerland, 23 November - 1 December 2006) Work plan & ToRs (ET/CR/1, Geneva, Switzerland, 28 May-1 June 2007) to move towards: Quantification of economic benefits and relevant metrics for aviation weather services provision; Development of consultation models and templates; and Collection of the ‘best practice’ examples for the CAeM Website. 3-10 February 2010 CAeM-XIV

3 Composition of the Expert Team on CR
Composed of 25 members 5 core members (Canada, Germany (replaced by Austria), the UK, the USA and Tanzania) Held 2 meetings: ET/CR/1 – Geneva, Switzerland, 28 May – 1 June 2007; ET/CR/2 – Hall (Innsbruck, Austria, 29 June to 3 July 2009) 3-10 February 2010 CAeM-XIV

COST RECOVERY Final update of WMO-No.904 “Guide on Aeronautical Meteorological Services Cost Recovery” Now includes 5 best practice examples from France, the UK, Germany, the RF and Tanzania 3-10 February 2010 CAeM-XIV

CUSTOMER RELATIONS Consolidated available consultation models and templates in a Guide “Principles and Guidance on Aeronautical Meteorological Services Consultation and User Focus” Provides practical guidance on objectives and methods of consultation, offers sample agenda and best practice templates 3-10 February 2010 CAeM-XIV

QUALITY MANAGEMENT Res. 18 (Cg-XV, 7-25 May 2007) Launched a demonstration project for the implementation of an ISO compliant QMS in Tanzania Lessons learnt and sample templates developed available on the CAeM web-site 3-10 February 2010 CAeM-XIV

8 New priority areas for the next inter-sessional period
Endorsed at CAeM Management Group meeting (21-25 September 2009): Implementation of Quality Management Systems; Cost Recovery; Resource Mobilization; Populating the WMO Country-level Database; Partnership with regional groupds and international organizations. Suggested to change the name into Expert Team on Governance and Partnership 3-10 February 2010 CAeM-XIV
