Passed three administrative rules 585-X Distribution Formula-Census Data Board adopts most recent population data October 1 each year 585-X Distributions to Emergency Communication Districts from the Cost Recovery Fund Make ECDs whole, pay cost recovery to participating carriers, pay ANGEN costs, maintain a minimum balance equal to (90) days operational and administrative costs of the board, and determine if there are additional funds that may be distributed to the ECDs and, if so, do so by 50% equal parts plus 50% by population 585-X Statewide 911 Charge Adjustment for the rate of growth in the CPI-U Increase service charge from $1.75 to $1.86

Applied for federal grant Focus = Gaps in implementing NG9-1-1 What we’re doing with the grant: Issuing a Hosted CPE RFP and a Statewide GIS Project RFP Actual amount of 911 Grant Program funds available for Alabama Alabama Match Total $2,544,360 $1,696,240 $4,240,600

Grew the Alabama Emergency Medical Dispatch Program From: To: 20 agencies 37 instructors 36 practitioners 29 agencies 67 instructors 319 practitioners (207 transitioned from existing programs; 112 new EMDs)

Completed our second Legal Compliance Audit Cut the number of finding by 2/3 Updated the ECD Annual reporting spreadsheet Most participation so far; seven ECDs did not report, one of which had dissolved in 2017. Engaged for Upcoming Sunset Review Second of the statewide Board’s existence Had legislation passed for § Sustainable funding for ANGEN or its progeny Reporting requirement of Board’s Executive Director to Legislative Leadership Annual Report to AAND

Implemented CPI Increase 6 months early Paid out $3,483, to ECDs before Issued an ANGEN Refund Refunded $2,498, of projected, but unused ANGEN costs Declared a Cost Recovery Excess Distributed $2,000, to ECDs of unclaimed Cost Recovery funds

Changed Banks Earned $98,124 in interest since December, ~4.5 x more than with previous bank Approved an ECD Consolidation Districts total = 86 (down from original 88) Successfully ended all ongoing litigation with providers Distributed an undisclosed settlement to ECDs as previously uncollected revenues

Supported the 911 Saves Act Passed the House on 7/12/19 Reached out to ALL Telecommunicators in Alabama 2,130 Education and Outreach packets sent during Public Safety Telecommunicator Week Produced 1st Directory Draft debuting now! Offered 284 training hours * 539 students attended 23 classes *does not include EMD
