Depot-specific expression profiles of genes involved in RA metabolism. qPCR was performed on 10 pairs of patient-derived SC and VS ASCs (S1–7 and S11–13). The graphs show differential mRNA expression of RDH10 (A), CRBP1 (B), DHRS3 (C), ALDH1A1 (D), ALDH1A2 (E), ALDH1A3 (F), CYP26A1 (G), CYP26B1 (H), CYP26C1 (I), RARA (J), RARB (K), RARG (L), RXRA (M), RXRB (N), and RXRG (O) in S1–7 and S11–13. The values are relative arbitrary units and are normalized to the housekeeping gene GAPDH. **P < 0.01 denotes significant differences in pairs of ASCs (n = 10).
