2. What is the difference between arithmetic and geometric sequences?
In a Arithmetic Sequence, the difference of consecutive terms is constant. This difference is called the common difference.
In a Geometric Sequence, the ratio of any term to the previous term is constant.
This constant ratio is called the common ratio.
