1 The CDR3 region of the Vγ1.1 chain is involved in ligand recognition by the Vγ1.1 Vδ6.3 TCR+ hybridomas. The CDR3 region of the Vγ1.1 chain is involved in ligand recognition by the Vγ1.1 Vδ6.3 TCR+ hybridomas. Hybridomas transfected with Vγ1.1Vδ6.3 TCR variant 2-10, 3-10, 6-10, or were incubated alone (-) or in presence of uninfected immortalized macrophages (UI) or immortalized macrophages infected with Listeria at MOI of 0.1, 0.5, 1, or 5. After 16 h incubation, IL-2 levels in the supernatant were assayed by ELISA and expressed as the percentage of the IL-2 response induced when the cells were treated with anti-Vγ1.1 Ab. Each point represents the mean of two replicates in one experiment and the spread of the error bar represents the range between the replicates. Triangles, squares, and circles represent the data from three independent experiments. The statistical analysis was done using two-way ANOVA test with a Tukey multiple comparison test. The asterisks indicate statistical differences between the hybridomas transfected with a specific TCR and hybridomas transfected with 3–10 TCR. **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, ****p < Maria Pia Negroni et al.
