Scope The version of e-PRIOR to be piloted is limited in functionality. A more advanced version is planned to go into production but not this one. The major Goals of the Pilot are: To make sure that your electronic invoices can be converted to the XML format used by e-PRIOR. To make sure that your invoices can be exchanged via web-services.

Write Requests: any request initiated by the Supplier that aims at creating a new record in the back-office of DIGIT (such as an invoice record). Every write request requires a set of actions by the back-office of DIGIT. Read Requests: any request initiated by the Supplier that aims at consulting data, in most cases, known to e-PRIOR (such as the state or the content of a document).

Quick-Start Each Supplier will
Action Point 1- Decide whether to use one or more representative parties. This will impact the number of Supplier Agreements linked to the Supplier. Action Point 2- Sign an ‘Interchange Agreement’ with the European Commission before interfacing with e-PRIOR. Once this is done, the Supplier will receive its User Name and Password. Action Point 3- Map its documents to the UBL syntax and semantic model. Action Point 4- Use the WSDL documents of e-PRIOR to create its e-PRIOR web-services client. Action Point 5- Know the GS1-GLN ID of the customer to use it as the unique identifier of the Customer. Optionally Action Point 6- Convey its GS1-GLN ID to be used as the unique identifier of the Supplier.
