This weeks project...
This week I would like you to research about a person who either has influenced you personally (a footballer, scientist, a family member) or someone who has influenced the wider world either with their discoveries, changes they’ve introduced or how they’ve contributed to society today.
I would like to know how they have been an ‘influencer’ and what impact their lives have had on you or others.
SPAG Challenge
This week in literacy we have be learning about how to be persuasive and we have used the leaflets this week to ‘pull out’ features of persuasion.
Can you write down why the following passage works as a persuasive piece of writing?
Do you want to experience one of the best days of your life? Here at Hepton Park, we have an exciting new ride, The Venon 3000, the world’s greatest rollercoaster. Come and experience deadly drops, blinding bends and treacherous tunnels.
To coincide with our maths groupings in class, the maths homework will not be divided into three different groups. You don’t have to complete all there tasks, choose one that you’re comfortable with and give it a go!
Spellings- Unusual, gradually, understanding, contented, mentioned, grouping, peculiarly, ordinarily.
You’ll notice I’ve added some suffixes this time, this is because these are the words that tricked us out this week 
Reading – You must make sure that you are either reading a minimum of three times a week or login in and completing your Reading Eggs tasks. I will be checking your reading diaries when I collect homework in to see what you’ve been reading 
Your project book is just like your other school books so you must treat it the same. Please write neatly, present your work nicely and write in pencil or pen if you have a licence.
