Ex. Last Sunday....great time, food, lots friends came...

Ever invited a lot and no one come?
-Lose heart......get discouraged

Beautiful chapter 4 encourages us to NOT GIVE UP, LOSE HEART
Q: Why do we lose heart? Why we get so discouraged?
Let’s look at what Jesus said and did......Matthew 28

What was Jesus all about?
-Go and Make Disciples .....
-Go and Baptize.....
-Teach them to obey everything....
Jesus would teach, train, send disciples out
They came back......shared what happened
He would send them out again....
Go therefore and make disciples...

7. Fishers Of Men Jesus was consistent in his message and purpose!!
-you will engage the people around you
-you have a purpose
You go out and engage others.....
Jesus taught idea.....we are coming to you....NT church and Jesus was never “Come to us and we’ll teach you”

9. Jesus divided the crowds...
John 7:12-13 NIV “Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said, "He is a good man." Others replied, "No, he deceives the people." But no one would say anything publicly about him for fear of the Jews.”
John 10:20-21 NIV “Many of them said, "He is demon- possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?" [21] But others said, "These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"
John 15:19 NIV “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”
