RTMMS v2 Complete Redesign
Input for features and functionality welcomed and appreciated Early prototype is running
3
RTMMS v2 - Information Site
Information Only Search for terms to use with your devices Search by Refid, Description, TermCode, Device Type...what else?
4
RTMMS v2 - Development Site
Manage term harmonization Manage term standardization workflow from term proposal to IEEE Publication Faster publication of new terms / standards Automated content generation
5
RTMMS v2 - Web Services FHIR Value Sets What else?
6
RTMMS v2 - Integration w/ other Tools
11073 Device Profile Editor (DPE) IHE-PCD Device Containment Profiling Tool* IGAMT *Needs a good name
7
IHE PCD Containment Profiles
Upload / Download XML Express optionality & cardinality

IHE PCD Containment Profile Tool
9
IHE PCD Containment Profile Tool
Express optionality & cardinality View containment Upload / Download XML (easiest way to edit) New terms automatically added as Proposed Term in RTM Manage and track device profile versions

Wait. Why am I building this?
(Didn’t I already build a device profile tool?) Purpose built Relieves concerns over differences b/w device messages and IHE PCD-01 messages / model Faster development Will integrate w/ DPE tool via XML Particularly differences w/ respect to alarms. Maybe w/ respect to other metric types.

Wait. Why am I building this?
(Didn’t I already build a device profile tool?) Supports the use of Nomenclature (Hopefully) Drives adoption of Device Profiles by providing a jumpstart. Will require some mapping b/w IHE-PCD attribution and attribution FHIR IGs too? Particularly differences w/ respect to alarms. Maybe w/ respect to other metric types.

Just what is needed Upload / Download XML
Express optionality & cardinality

PoCD DIM - Too much + different
This shows only the classes defined by the standard. There are ~350 classifiers total in the DIM model. There are 110 classifiers in the PHD model. The Device Profiling application relies on several other supporting models (MetaInformation, Nomenclature, DeviceProfile, etc.) that interact with the DIM model. The Device Profiling application implements ~550 classes specific to the application.
15
So, What Do You Want? <your Nomenclature Information site feature> <your Nomenclature Management site feature> <your Rosetta feature> <your Containment Profile feature> <your Flux Capacitor feature>
16
Integrating w/ 11073 More specific tags might help a lot
<enum>, <numeric>, <rtsa>, <dsa>, <tsa> <event>, <alert> ? More metadata PoCD vs PHD ?
17
Can we make it a “Best Practice” to use named Enumeration Groups?
18
Terminology Management
Tokens should be managed as terms They need descriptions, etc. Some tokens are synonyms for terms Associations b/w Terms and EnumVals / Units needs to be managed (better that it has been) More use of named <Enum|Unit> Groups Can we manage <pre|in|suf>fixes? e.g. _INFUS should be listed in a table of *fixes with a description and guidance on usage
