Some messages

Year 2 SATs Year 2 will be completing the Year 2 Statutory Assessment Tests next week. These are administered in a very informal way, with Mr Price taking children out in small groups. They will be completing a maths and reading assessment. The children know that it is a time to show off how much they have learned and how fabulous they are. Results will be shared along with teacher assessment in due course.

Well done to Year 6… A big well done to year 6 for all their hard work and effort with the SATs this week. They all took it in their stride and weren’t at all phased by it. Whatever the results they are all superstars.

Open The Book Book the date! Our celebration assembly at 9 am on Friday 7th June will be a special celebration with OPEN THE BOOK. It's an opportunity to mark the 20th anniversary of this charity, find out a bit more about it and enjoy whole school worship with our OPEN THE BOOK team. Refreshments will be served afterwards. All welcome.

Parking We have noted some parents have been parking their cars illegally on the yellow lines outside of school when dropping children off. Please do not do this as you are inconveniencing other road users and potentially putting your child’s friends in danger.

Kingswood All children going to Kingswood on Monday please come to school in own clothes not school uniform. If you haven’t complete the form sent out earlier this week please do so and return Monday morning. Make sure you pack enough clothes, sweets and toiletries. Sun cream is useful as is a waterproof coat. Small games such as cards and books are a good idea for winding down…. All medication labelled and to an adult please- apart from inhalers, which children keep. Mrs Thomas and Ms Costello are looking forward to surviving on limited sleep. Look out for pictures on twitter!
