2nd Grade Information
SCHOOL BEHAVIOR: We have a few students that behave very well at school. They have very polite manners. We also have some students that talk A LOT. They are forgetting that school is in session for three more weeks. Teachers tell them to mind manners, be quiet, or stay focused and the students continue with their poor behavior, not even thinking what is right or wrong. They show very little respect for themselves and for others. Please visit with your child about respect. We want school to be a fun and safe place where everyone can learn. Thank you.
MN ZOO: Thank you to those who have returned the permission slips. Thank you to the chaperones for completing the background check and sending in your $12. If you haven’t heard from us, you passed your background check. We will let you know if you did not pass. There are many parents going along. I hope some of you will be able to carpool to the zoo. Especially if it is hot, you will have air conditioning, we won’t have that on the bus.
May 14 - ACTIVITIES DAY is a day K-2 will do a variety of activities down by the track. The rain date is set for May 16. Students should bring their own water bottle and a snack for a break.
May 15 - MN ZOO – dress for the weather. It may be chilly in the morning but warm in the afternoon.
May 27 – NO SCHOOL – Memorial Weekend
May 31 – LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
