The purpose of the Youth Expansion Program is to help children with financial, educational and sports opportunities that engage their mind and gives them a sense of belonging.
The Louisiana Knights of Columbus Youth Expansion Program (YEP) is a program dedicated to the collection of funds to support inspirational, educational and sports programs located throughout the State of Louisiana. YEP is beneficial to the Knights of Columbus because it will provide children and young adults with emotional development, good sportsmanship skills, self awareness, academic support, promotion of good self esteem and leadership skills. YEP programs are also important because they are a way to recruit young people into Knighthood.
The Knights of Columbus Youth Expansion Program has become one of the best in the World by establishing obtainable goals and a commitment to partner with organizations that are determined to raise funds for the children of Louisiana .

4. Youth Expansion Program
An was sent out to notify each Council of their YEP quota. The quota is derived using a $10.00 assessment fee for each active member on your Council’s roster which is determined at the start of the Columbian year.

5. Youth Expansion Program Each month I will send out an to update you as to which Councils have donated to YEP and the amount of funds YEP collected. The program takes place from July to June of the fraternal year. Do not wait until the last minute to try and make your donation. Your donations are time sensitive for the grading forms.

Make the check payable to: LA State Council Put the Council name on the check Put the Council number on the check Put YEP on the check’s memo line Please ensure that you put the current date on the check
