Composition of Transformations
Composition of transformations is essentially the same thing as composition of functions. It is simply combining more than one of them. You simply do them in the order listed. As you do more than one transformation, you use more than one prime mark to tell the order. For example, you’ll go from A to A’ to A’’ to A’’’ and so forth.

The new vocabulary you’ll see here is this. I’ll ask you translate a preimage along a vector. This is the exact same thing we did before. Here is how you’ll translate it: Translate the figure along the vector (5, -7) means the same as It is simply a more compact way to express the parentheses.
