V. 22, He hears an unusual story of an angel visiting a Gentile, a centurion
V , He goes, meets Cornelius, his relatives, and his friends
V , Peter makes 3 declarations
It’s unlawful for a Jew to associate with Gentiles
God has shown him not to call any person unclean
Why am I here? (He still didn’t get it!)

4. V. 30-33, Cornelius repeats whole story again
V , Peter finally understands
V. 39, testifies as an eyewitness
V. 43, calls OT prophets to witness
V , Jews are amazed at Spirit poured out on the Gentiles
V. 47, Peter still sounding a little doubtful but staying the correct course

5. As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning. And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God's way?” When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.” (Acts 11:15-18 ESV)
