2 It has a violin shape on its back. It is a little bigger than a quarter. This spider is a light brown color.

3 The brown recluse lives in the middle to lower part of the United States. It likes to hide in things that have not been used in a while.

4 It sleeps during the day. It catches insects at night.

5 Its light brown color helps it to hide in the dark

6 Most spiders have eight eyes, but the brown recluse only has six.
