1 How to Track Safety Quizzes in Skills Library
Safety Team Meeting Presentation June 3, 2019

2 Go to the Projects/Units/Lesson Template screen

3 Click to CREATE NEW (General Template)

4 Fill in the template....

5 Click to save and continue… check off any relevant safety competencies from Strands 1 & 2… and click SELECT.

6 These competencies will be saved with the template

7 Each time students take and pass this safety quiz, use the following steps to record the results….
Choose the CUSTOM GRID from the home page and click to CONTINUE TO STEP 2… Choose your safety quiz from the lesson plan/project plan dropdown list

8 The grid will have the specific competencies related to this safety quiz, and any entries you make will be saved with the name of the safety quiz….

9 When you need to know who has passed this safety quiz, you can look at the competency checklist (individual printout) or Report 4B - History

10 …. Or look at “Report 4B – Individual History” or “Report 5 – Detailed History”

11 Shortcut – Another Way to Track Safety Quizzes in Skills Library (without using the lesson plan template) Choose the CUSTOM GRID from the home page and click to CONTINUE TO STEP 2… Type in the name of a lesson or quiz or project

12 Shortcut – continued When the grid opens, type or copy-and-paste the relevant competencies/standards and click to CONTINUE The grid will display those competencies. Complete the grid and SAVE. The name of the lesson or quiz or project, such “SAFETY QUIZ – POWER SANDER” will appear in the students’ history screens along with the competencies you identified.
