Comparison of the percentages of ducts in the pancreas containing cells showing positive staining for the different markers between control patients and those with chronic pancreatitis. Each point represents an individual patient and is usually the mean of several sections analyzed. All ducts on each section were counted (on average ∼100 ducts per patient). There are significant differences between these two groups for glucagon (P < 0.005), amylase (P < ), Ki67 (P < ), PDX-1 (P < ), and insulin (P < 0.05). Jenny M. Phillips et al.
