2. Law 196:
If a man destroy the eye of another man, they shall destroy his eye.

3. Law 202:
If any one strike the body of a man higher in rank than he, he shall receive sixty blows with an ox-whip in public.

4. Law 247:
If any one hire an ox, and put out its eye, he shall pay the owner one-half of its value.

5. Summary
Even though the Code of Hammurabi stabilized how society was set up in Babylonia, the laws and punishments were very harsh. Some of the punishments did not fit the crime, such as the consequence of death for the violation of robbery. Also, some of the punishments were less severe for people of a higher class. I think that Hammurabi's Code would have been much better if Hammurabi made sure that it was completely fair.
