Lehtonen (instructor) Energy services for prosumers Objective Our goal was to develop a new contract concept that electricity retailers could offer to their customers. Motivation for this project came from the idea of Finnish power system lacking innovation of new ideas and concepts. Our concept needed to be wake up call for electricity retailers, support variable renewable energy resources and be attractive to energy retailers as well as to customers. We also felt that relationship between electricity retailers and their customers are in need of improvement. Therefore, our concept aims to support integration of renewable energy resources to the power system as well as customer’s desire to produce their own energy.
