Better Later Life’ consultation launched The Government has developed a new strategy to shape the policies needed to help older New Zealanders live well. 3 The Positive Ageing Strategy
The strategy promotes a society where people can age positively and where older people are highly valued and recognised as an integral part of families and communities. Positive ageing reflects the attitudes and experiences older people have about themselves and how younger generations view the process of ageing. It takes into account the health, financial security, independence, self-fulfilment, personal safety and living environment of older New Zealanders. The Positive Ageing strategy provides a framework for developing and understanding policy with implications for older people.

5 Computer Emergency Response Team
Katrina talked about some of the cyber security issues that are affecting New Zealanders’ of all ages when making connections through digital channels along with some of the challenges that comes with.  She shared some real life case studies from reports CERT NZ has received.
