I would recommend this book to any thoughtful person who doesn’t mind working his or her way slowly through dense, often technical text. The new knowledge about the past, present and future Earth that I acquired from this book was worth the effort. It’s a book that I will keep so that I can go back and reread text as I make new connections to my world.
