Effect of siRNA-mediated depletion of selected OST subunits on stability. (A) HeLa cells were transfected with siRNAs targeting STT3A, STT3B, OST48, DAD1, KCP2, or a non-targeting control (nt) and immunoblotted for the proteins indicated after 72 h. (B) Quantitative representation of the data from several experiments as presented in A. Fluorescent signals were quantified, normalised to the corresponding α-tubulin signals, and expressed as a percentage of the signal in control cells (see also Table 1). Values are means ± s.e.m. for n≥7 (*P<0.05, **P<0.01, ***P<0.001). (C) HepG2 whole-cell lysates prepared 72 h after siRNA transfection were analysed by immunoblotting for the indicated proteins.
