2. Mission
Improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families in Baltimore City and surrounding counties
Provide comprehensive guidance to Ryan White providers and the Baltimore Planning Council to ensure compliance with Ryan White legislations and standards of care
Objective
Demonstrate 2018 fiscal year’s client level data for resource allocation decision making

3. Ending the HIV Epidemic
HRSA HAB has focused on four goals to inform programmatic efforts and funding to end the HIV epidemic.
Reduce the number of people who become infected with HIV
Increase access to care and improve health outcomes for people living with HIV
Reduce HIV-related health disparities
Achieve a more coordinated national response to the HIV epidemic

4. Client Level Data inclusion criteria
Client with at least one Ryan White defined service regardless of payer
Client with a confirmed HIV diagnosis
Client age > 2 years old
Client’s Federal Poverty Level <= 500%

5. FY18 Clients N = 12,735 2% increase from FY17 (n=245)
79.2% of clients received a service supported by Part A funds (n=10,089)
9.6% of clients received a service supported by Part A MAI funds (n=1,220)
12 clients received Hospice Care
110 clients received Other Professional Services (Legal)

6. Core Medical Services Support Services
94.0% of clients have received at least one Core Medical Service (n=11,965)
56.7% of clients have received at least one Support Service (n=7,226)
50.8% of clients have received both a Core Medical & Support Service (n=6,471)
5.9% of clients have received a Support Service only (n=755)

Due to notable disparities, HRSA HAB has enhanced its efforts to improve HIV- related health outcomes among several key populations

19. Limitations
A Ryan White documented HIV care visit in CAREWare are those who have had a funded RW visits. Variances in clinical and demographic data are attributed to individual Program operations & Ryan White consumers receiving care outside of the network of Ryan White Providers.
