General Info about the Exam process
Certification is good for 36 months The exam costs $10 You have 8 days to take the exam after you register You get 180 minutes (no pauses) Can extend time for documented medical reasons It is proctored, sort of (you can check notes & search Google) If you don’t pass, you can repeat the exam in 14 days. A second fail means a 60 day wait. A third fail equals a year’s wait time. You have to pay the fee each time.

Technical requirements
Must use Chrome Log in to an Incognito Window Stable Internet Connection Must have an internal OR external webcam During performance portion, must use ctrl + c and ctrl + v to cut and paste All exam materials resources are provided (Drive)

Starting the exam Sign into exam as if creating a new Google account (using the link, & password they provided) You must accept permissions You will be asked to create a new password Don’t use a password that you use regularly Write it down!!

Set up Proctoring The webcam takes a picture. No one is staring at you the whole time! Must keep exam tab open (if it closes you have 5 minutes to reopen) Must Allow webcam Webcam will take a photo Must agree to NDA and Exam Privacy/Policies When you click the green I Understand, Start The Exam button your 180 minute timer starts!

Testing tips During the multiple choice section
Pay attention to the number of answers they ask for Watch for key words in the question Use obvious wrong answers to help you eliminate answer choices
